Bright and well meaning students can't surpass the pitfalls of modern academia nor surmount the absolute power of big industry to deny claims and dictate treatment in healthcare. I'm sure they will serve their masters well, and perhaps help a client, if it's possible. Insurance billed, students trained, patient dejected.

I would seek another practice if at all possible. Therapists place their own values above your own, which given the nature of this nuanced and delicate field, is not conducive to positive outcomes for clients. Therapists are even hostile when their goals for you aren't met. This is a negative feedback loop for clients given that usually they already struggle with their daily lives.

I’ve been waiting months for my past records to be mailed to me (for insurance purposes). I signed a release form and sent it back to the clinic and called multiple times and they never pick up. I don’t know what else to do. I can’t just walk into the clinic for my records because I live out of state now. This is ridiculous.
