Today, Wednesday, August 13, 2025- I have been waiting three hours with my spouse (who has been in pain & short of breath) in the waiting room. Unfortunately, my spouse is a cardiac patient that requires meds at 7 A.M. and 7P.M. - severe cardiomyopathy. I took my spouse home to get meds and a meal. My spouse was told "I leave I have to start all over". I'm so very disappointed in St. Joe's. I came here because of your values, but I'm not sure of what they actually are now.
Waited over 3 hours to be seen in the waiting room after getting there early with excruciating pain and then was quickly dismissed by a resident with no proper imaging or care. Barely touched or looked at and was given a silly diagnosis just to get out of there. I didn’t fight it because the attitude was so dismissive and not caring. So I drove myself over a day later to the Reading Hospital and was given proper imaging and received a severe diagnosis and ultimately given medication and follow ups to the diagnosis..something... read more
No rooms available?, I'd go as far to say, some people are faking there way in to get drugs administered, the place was packed I sat there in crying pain and never got treatment because I walked out after nurses took me to cat scan and then(after I told them my name and birth date) they said I'm the wrong person. I left after that I was in bad pain, but the people behind the desk in charge, seemed to just overlook me. Really the place should be investigated Weird people coming in and looking around and then leave
I have been waiting for at least for awhile it took about 30 minutes in the waiting room where the took a urine sample and some blood work. About five minutes later they took me back to the fast track room and made wait about fifteen minutes just to talk to the doctor and about five minutes later i asked for something for pain. Now it at least twenty minutes later and still waiting the doctor to come back and talk to me again and still in a lot of pain. I did get back the results from the blood work and the urine sample. By far the worst hospital I’ve ever been to. When I got called back the first time it was for vitals, and instead of the nurse waiting and taking me to where I needed to go she just went into the room so I was standing in the waiting room obviously because I didn’t know where I was going. She asked what I was there for I said a basic medical term and she looked at me like I had 5 heads asking me what I meant by that… scary. Then I got bloodwork that nurse was so sweet props to her.
