Absolutely Disgraceful Experience at Penn Health Medical Center in Reading, PA I cannot recommend this hospital to anyone. We had a nightmare visit with my daughter that turned into a complete waste of time, a violation of our privacy, and left us with an outrageous bill. Was treated in the ER and stayed overnight after a procedure at Penn state St.Joes hospital. (5/4/26) I really just want to mention how *above and beyond* all the staff have been, since the minute I walked in the door. This facility is cleaner than Rdg Hosp and everything is timed perfectly. I will never go to Reading Hospital again. I wanna give you a shout out to two providers specifically, you made this situation so much more comfortable and kind for me. It’s so sad to see how the nurses, doctors and caregivers of this place are so rude and inconsiderate. The respond to your concerns as if it was a bother to them. I 100% DO NOT recommend this place.

i called due to an ectopic pregnancy and i just wanted to ask some important questions before i went into the ER, i got hung up multiple times in the middle of me talking. Then when i finally got my side out the nurse or whomever at the front desk said “oh my god that’s not even a big deal bye” and when i called again shocked she passed the phone to a male and he told me to stop calling for something that will deal with itself anyway..
