I just moved from out of state and I’ve been trying to get scheduled for an appointment and they keep telling me they can’t schedule me until they have my records from my previous OB, which have been sent twice in the last two weeks, and I’m nearly 36 weeks pregnant and need a repeat c section. Rachel the midwife is AMAZING, informative and Dr. Macdonald seems to have concern and care for all the patients. Scheduling could definitely improve a lot sometimes I don’t know what I’m going in for, and when I need to schedule at a different location, the Hershey office never knows what I’m coming in for so I end making double the amount of trips.
I'm so sad to say this, but so far my experience has been TERRIBLE. I chose to go here as my son was born at the Hershey Medicine NICU and we had such an amazing experience with Penn State Medicine that we wanted to stay in network. Well this place does not hold a torch to Hershey. The bed side manner is lacking to say the least, they do not return calls, they do not anwser messages, and it is nearly impossible to make an appointment. I haven't felt as though I've mattered at all through out this process.
