Would not recommend Penn State Health to anyone I know. I have serious mental health problems & was seeing a psychiatrist at Penn State Health Dr. Marissa Beal was the one I had seen but they were very quick to dismiss me from all care I was receiving at Penn State Health. They are not going to like a BIG lawsuit against them! Seek care somewhere else & make sure you do research on a doctor & read some Google Reviews before hand. No one at Penn State Health cares about the patients! They only care about the money they make! ... read more

I came in for what was supposed to be a routine Pap smear, and the visit ended up costing around $1,000 with no prior notice about the price. The provider was dismissive and even argued with me about my own body, which made me feel really uncomfortable. I never received my results I had to call the office three weeks later to get them. I’m sharing this so others are aware and can ask for full cost and communication transparency before scheduling here.

I had a relative who was supposed to have her first pregnancy appointment there. Unfortunately she lost the baby. It was her first and when she contacted the office about what to do at the start of the miscarriage, they put a message through and no one called back for 6 HOURS!! She had called in multiple times in between the 6 hour time frame and no one helped her. This call should have been triaged as this could have been a life threatening issue.
