I was treated here when I was 17-19 years old and I was assigned a new psychiatrist that did not listen to me. She told me what she thought I had because of the mental health issues in my family tree. She told me what symptoms she felt I had. Then she prescribed me the wrong medication that could have seriously caused harm to me if my family doctor didn’t tell me to stop taking it when they did. The doctors went months without properly addressing concerns and now they decide to address it, which means just starting out on a 10 month wait list. Should have already been on that wait list months ago but instead of addressing concerns I was told to spank my child. The office also sent paperwork for a deceased parent to fill out because no one bothered to look at the file.

You will struggle to get your calls returned, you will struggle to get your prescriptions refilled in a timely manner, and you will struggle to see the same therapist consistently because it is a teaching school. You will feel like you are in a meat market, and the fact that no one will call me back to reschedule an appointment that YOU cancelled is ridiculous. I'm tired of calling two or three times before someone calls me back. Wish I had the opportunity or ability to change but I don't.
