Great facility. Glad we found it. My adult son has tourette's and autism. And the doctor is very much in tune with his needs and our hopes.

This is my first time with Penn State Hershey psychiatry, and I had a very poor experience here. Only had to switch here because I lost my IOP psychiatry due to insurance, but will be looking elsewhere. Was not a fan of the provider I had, didn’t feel that she really understood me and my conditions, and every visit I saw a new attending, which became very frustrating. I was treated here when I was 17-19 years old and I was assigned a new psychiatrist that did not listen to me. She told me what she thought I had because of the mental health issues in my family tree. She told me what symptoms she felt I had. Then she prescribed me the wrong medication that could have seriously caused harm to me if my family doctor didn’t tell me to stop taking it when they did.
