Not a great check-in experience with Penn Radiology today. I did my paperwork online and arrived 20 minutes early to sign in and check in for my appointment at the front desk. I paid the co-pay, provided my insurance and license, and then I was told that I was all set and could have a seat. 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time (50 minutes total in the waiting room), somebody called out asking if there “was a Samantha here?”- I said yes, I’ve been here for almost an hour. Pleasant friendly n welcoming environment. My visit today was outstanding!
Fiance needed to go in for an ultrasound due to ongoing stomach issues. Took 2 months to get an appointment. Day of the appointment he can't eat or drink anything all the night before, gets to the office only to be told the technician didn't show up so they would have to reschedule his appointment for 2 weeks later. He just left. Completely unacceptable.
I don’t know what I expected, but when I went in for my anatomy scan.. the tech barely showed me the screen or told me what I was looking at. At least she did, because when I returned for a repeat the next one literally didn’t show me the screen at all or talk to me at all during the procedure. Nobody reviewed the findings with me, they were released to me a few days later. Thankfully the first time everything was normal, but imagine if they weren’t.
