Gave my minor child’s medical records to a family member of mine that she happens to be Facebook friends with and hangs out with because her friend requested it. This all happened without my written consent as her mother and guardian. Do not go to her she violated HIPAA with a minor child, Doctor patient confidentiality etc. It was written and I have proof of her giving authorization to her staff to give her friend the records (under her authority apparently) even though they tried to stop it.
