I’m not one to ever leave reviews but in this case I felt was necessary. Dr. Paul Frake is an absolute joke. If you are taking your child to be seen by him, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I went to him desperate for my one year old daughter who was having reoccurring double ear infections every 3 weeks for 8 months. He looked in my daughters ears & said “I currently don’t see any fluid” and didn’t want to take it any further then that. We saw Dr Frake on three occasions in order to find solutions for my granddaughter?s (2 YO) continuous ear infections leading to reduced hearing and diagnosed language delay. He refused to provide tubes and could not or would not describe why or how to proceed in terms that made any sense. Every question was met with the same precise medical rhetoric phrasing that he was unwilling to expand on. I couldn't have asked for a better thyroid surgeon. If you need thyroid & head or neck surgery, he is your man! I WAS sooo worried about losing my voice!! On operation day, Dr Frake, the OR nurse and the anesthesiologist were all on board. They all did their best to keep my vocal chords and I safe, and were kind yet succint. Seeing Dr.Frake was probably my best doctor appointment I've ever had.. and there have been many. He easily identified that I actually need a neurologist but was SO informative on medications I was taking..why I am feeling the way I am feeling and the neurological disorder i am most likely suffering from that I finally feel there is hope and I know what to address now.
