What a wonderful group of women who work at MFM! Had twice weekly NST appts for 8 weeks and Tara was the absolute best nurse. I felt well taken care of.
I went for my 12 week scan. The ultrasound tech who name was Elizabeth was very not friendly, welcoming and overall dry personality. At the end of the appointment, she questioned the size of my baby being bigger than what i thought i was. Then stated “well you’re not a small person”. I left that appointment feeling very upset thinking something was wrong with my baby and upset by the comment she made with overall poor bedside manners. My OB was able to clarify and apologized based on that techs behave.
During our appointment we felt rushed and not wanted. I don’t know if this tech hates her job or if she is just a miserable person. But, as I see now, I am not the first patient complaining about her. I am shocked this office keeps people so rude and unprofessional with so much lack of empathy. Her name was Elizabeth (she tried so hard for us not to see her badge) We are not coming back to this office ever again.
The bedside manner from my tech was a little disappointing. Her ID badge said clinical leader and she had a student with her, so I had high hopes. She was efficient and everything appeared to be okay but wasn’t too friendly. This is my first pregnancy, so seeing the baby for the first time felt special. Naturally, I had questions about what I was seeing. Her attitude deterred me from asking any further questions.
