There are only a few competent doctors at this practice and they no longer accept patients. When I reestablished care here, I was forced into accepting their newest, most junior provider, “Dr” Makaha Lyo. “Dr” Makaha Lyo’s inexperience and lack of knowledge directly endangered my life. I was forced to seek outside care from experienced physicians and am saddled with thousands of dollars in medical debt as a direct result of “Dr” Makaha Lyo’s failure to listen, understand, adequately treat and diagnose. If I could give Penn Medicine negative stars I would. The department that handles referrals is complete useless and incompetent. I was supposed to have a referral processed back on 1/30/25, and they are saying that they cannot fix their error in processing, and now I have a collection agency contacting me because of Penn Medicine's error. DO NOT DO business with this company
They’ll make you wait an hour then tell you it will be another 15 minutes. Find somewhere else to go.
