Currently being charged $226 for a blood test that they lost and made me redo over a year ago from 11/30/23. Never even got the results. I paid the previous bill and the bill after it right after receiving them and didnt get this bill until a couple weeks ago. Tried explaining the situation but they just keep sending the bill.

The office is extremely hard to get in touch with. You have to call repeatedly and leave messages with the emergency answering service because it is almost impossible to speak with the front desk. No one answers the phone. I've never had a Dr.'s office who's message tells you they're busy, just try to call back in a bit and only leave a message with the answering service if it's an emergency. Very frustrating to call throughout the entire day without ever being able to speak to someone, and doing so over several days.

This review is specifically for Penn Highlands Family Medicine. I have been going here for most of my life, and at one point, it was a great practice. However, over the past few years there has been a great decline in the quality of care from the doctors to the front office staff. I am 34 weeks pregnant and desperately needed several referrals for outside care. Staff is friendly and helpful, but most of the equipment is ancient. For as expensive as the membership is a month I'd expect the sauna to be fully functional and the hot tub and pool to be more presentable. Not worth the money in my honest opinion.
