This place deserves 0 stars...stay far away from this prison. I'm currently waiting to have a knee surgery. Arrival 1030 am was told surgeon is ahead of schedule. My surgery was scheduled for 1 it's 10 min after never saw doctor never got marked .n left in dark. Never given a call bell. They leave u in the dark. N watch out for the old nasty charge nurse who got a stick up her butt. U wave them down and yelled hello she comes with attitude I said no one is keeping me posted . Had a great experience at Penn Highlands Mon Valley. The staff was compassionate, professional, and really took the time to listen. Check-in was smooth and I didn’t feel like I was just a number. Nurses and doctors explained everything clearly and made sure all my questions were answered. The facility was clean and well-kept.
My mom was admitted twice at ER, I found the ER very professional and through. Once on the floor, we were kept informed of her status by the physicians who managed her care. The social worker assigned to the third and sixth floor were very informative. The food looked good too
