Would give 0 stars if possible. Lowest quality hospital I’ve ever seen at every level from the facility to the staff to the management. They kept billing me repeatedly for the same visit after I had already paid too. Absolute joke of a hospital
They try to charge you and your insurance for services that you didn't receive and for doctors you never seen or heard of and when you call them out on it they blow you off and tell you investigating it and then try and send you another bill / update/ I made this first post six years ago and now they’re back to doing the same thing trying to randomly charge me for stuff and my wife from two years ago that was paid in full. I think it’s time to report them to my insurance and then see where I can go from there.
I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received when I called Penn Highlands seeking medical guidance after my son hit his head while riding his tricycle. I first spoke with Margie, the receptionist, who transferred me to the nursing unit for further medical advice. Unfortunately, my experience only worsened from there. Seems the main goal of this hospital is to get you in and out as fast as they can. Never had a faster visit to a hospital. I gave 2 stars because the staff was very friendly but I didn't see a doctor and they sent me back for an x ray and then rushed me out the door with a $3000 bottle of magnesium citrate when I told them repeatedly I tried several laxatives over the last 2 days. In more pain now than when I went in
