My mother received exceptional care from Dr. Mark Mattison when she was taken by ambulance for severe back pain to the PH Elk ER. Dr. Mattison was very thorough, patient, and professional, while exhibiting a genuine concern for my mother's situation. After he realized she is battling bile duct cancer, he ordered a CT scan to rule out the cancer didn't spread before treating her back as a musculoskeletal issue. Dr was great at er. Nurse never even confirmed names before administering medications, never said what meds were and never asked for consent. Very unprofessional
