Had neurosurgery on my neck and during my surgery, my daughter saw Dr. Bejjani getting food to eat while she was at the snack shop. Assuming I was out of surgery , my daughter called and asked the nurse when did I come out of surgery, and the nurse told my daughter I have been in surgery for about 45 mins and still had a ways to go before going into the recovery room. Do not recommend at all my fiancé sees her and I am a nurse. She does not pay attention to her patience records to see what they have had done or have to have done or the surgeries they have to have done or have had done. She is a terrible doctor I made my fiancé go see another doctor! She does not have common sense
We went with my 89 year old mother to penn highlands Dubois for a second opinion after a bad experience with Kane Hospital and doctor at the emergency room said he was upset i pulled my mom from Kane Hospital against the kane doctors wishes ,and didnt want to help her or check kane's work . Kane had gotten no where i was hoping to get some answers and all i got was attitude.The head nurse said they would run tests but when i checked with the nursing home ,they said nothing new was done .The nurses where great but the doctors... read more
Probably the worse hospital ever. A family member of mine was unfortuantely taken there from Tyrone Hospital due to a cardiac event. Waited over 9 hours to be seen; a cardiac patient. Aditted, absolutely NO communication by staff on 1A.. Wrong medications administered, no follow up on EKG results, nor echo results. Pt was suppose to undergo a cardiac cath due to "test results", machine down, would be back up 4 days later. Never transferred to DuBois where cath machine availabe. The Nurses are the most caring people I have ever had take care of me. They truly care. And going through cancer is tough, but they make it easier
If you need imaging and are in the State College area, JC Blair 611 is the place to go. Other facilities were booking appointments 10-14 days out. 611 got me in the same day that I called. Super nice staff who were all very professional and friendly. No need to wait...call 611!
Treated very poorly, You can listen to the staff while waiting in the waiting room talk poorly about other patients. Also they talk so loud your personal information can be heard.
This place is a joke. They almost killed my mother. And she's still suffering for it and it's been years. My brother was injured and his blood pressure through the roof. They did the minimal and sent him away without an X-ray or MRI which they said he NEEDED. But they didn't want his bill "to be too high". Which they cannot do in the first place. They can not treat you different from anyone else treatment wise. You can't look at their insurance at that time to say what they said and do what they did. It's against hospital ru... read more
