I wish 0 stars was possible. Do not under any circumstances go to this office. It's impossible to make an appointment when you're sick. You will never get to speak to someone at the office. You get directed to a call center and they will make you leave a message to maybe be called back later in the day. Find an office where you can actually talk to a human being who is able to make appointments.
I don't understand the low rating for Penn Primary Care. For starters, they are easy to reach on the phone and if the wait will be long, you have the option for them to call you back--and they always do. They are always attentive and helpful on the phone as well. The front office staff are friendly and always seem happy to see their patients. The medical assistants are competent and kind. As for the providers, I haven't met one I didn't like. Dr. McElrone is my doctor for basic stuff like physicals and I genuinely like her. ... read more
I have been a patient here over 20 years and have had a few different physicians. I have always received good care. I have always been satisfied. I use the patient portal and have decent results. When I need to talk to the office, I find it best to call before 10am. Dr. Beauparlant attends every concern I have.
This place makes it impossible to get an appointment. Try to get a physical with blood work you have to go in to see the doctor first before they schedule your blood work and then you’d have to make another doctors appointment to discuss the results for your blood work. This is ridiculous. I’ll find another doctor thank you very much.
How are you a doctor's office that makes it nearly impossible to schedule appointments for sick people? A 48 hour turn-around time is absolutely ridiculous when someone is ill. Reply to their reply: I'm already on the cancellation list, and it's not "further in the future than I would like" it's later than necessary when someone is ill. I would suggest that people find a different primary care doctor. This practice has gone significantly downhill in the past 7 years.
