VERY EXPENSIVE AND DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. Several months after I ordered shelves for two closets, for which I paid a premium, I have shelves that have either not been installed or haven't been installed as they were supposed to be designed. Penmarc and the Container Store have a dysfunctional relationship and at the end of the day, I am paying the price.
My closet looks good! However, it took the contractor 3x longer than needed because he would NOT STAY OFF HIS PHONE. Texting, phone calls back & forth, scrolling incessantly. At one point he was scrolling with one hand & trying to set brackets with the other hand. The minute he’d start drilling, his phone would ping, he’d stop, reach for his phone, & start texting. Dylan was everything one would hope for, when needing furniture to be reassembled. Dylan arrived and in no time got the job done in a cheerful and professional manner. Much appreciated.
Dylan did a great job installing my closet system from the container store today. He was punctual and arrived within the 1 hr arrival window this morning. Additionally, when he first arrived he politely asked if we preferred he mask mask and take off his shoes. That's very rare for a contractor to ask the homeowner's preference these days. Dylan was very resourceful and communicated clearly to me when he noticed a problem installing anchors for the system(soft drywall).
