I was originally supposed to have a home birth, but had to transfer here in my last few weeks of pregnancy. It was God thing I ended up having a hospital birth. It was as good as a hospital birth can be. I had a good experience there with labor & delivery, absolutely loved my nurses, despite the fact that I had a cervical tear and bled so bad I needed a transfusion. 5 hours in the waiting room for ER... walked out. That is ridiculous!
Had an unfortunate thing happen that resulted in a trip to the er. I get there early afternoon and at first I was impressed. All the nurses (RN blue scrubs) and doctors are zipping all over the place taking care of people and consistently checked in even if just to ask if hanging in there ok. The last time I saw the dr an update was provided and was told I would be discharged quickly. Then the shift change happened.
