My husband presented at Peninsula Private emergency department after being sent there by our GP with a referral letter for IV antibiotics due to a severe kidney infection. On arrival, he paid the excessive amount of $445 just to get through the door and then waited for a Doctor. My husband had had all of the blood tests, ultrasounds and CT scans done prior to going to the hospital and he took the results with him with the letter from our General practitioner. Came to emergency at 330am and was seen too very promptly. staff were all great, was admitted into a ward for treatment , All the Staff were absolutely incredible , extremely caring and professional could not fault anything at all, special thanks to all the Cardio staff !
Really unacceptable experience today. I called and was transferred to the pre admission section, then to the lady who handles quotes. She didn’t introduce herself, didn’t ask my name, and immediately opened with “when do you want to get booked in?”before even knowing who I was or why I was calling. It came across as abrupt, pushy, and incredibly unprofessional. I was calling to get clarification on a surgical quote involving thousands of dollars. Three weeks intensive care fantastic staff
I recently had a one-week admission and the level of care was outstanding. The nurses were so kind, the doctor is an absolute legend, and the whole team truly goes above and beyond. A special thank you to Danielle at reception, she was incredible. She helped me with things she didn’t even need to, always with warmth and genuine care. Staff like Danielle deserve to be recognised, the world needs more people like her. I feel really grateful to have received this level of care. Thank you 🙏
