I've always felt robbed by every GP appointment I've had, other than with Dr. Akanksha, who was awesome. I've been declined repeat prescriptions and advised to book in face to face consults, only for the doctor to simply write a new prescription without any physical examination, (which is really annoying when you have to organise a baby sitter for your baby) Consults feel very rushed, bare minimum and lack a holistic overview. Very disappointed with my experience at Peninsula Medical Centre. They took an entire week to upload my medical file to Immigration New Zealand, which nearly cost me my New Zealand residency. The delay caused unnecessary stress and frustration, not only for me but also for the immigration assessor handling my case. For something as critical and time-sensitive as immigration medicals, better management and communication are absolutely essential.
