I have lived in multiple states IL (Commonwealth Edison), CO (Xcel Energy), and WA (both PSE and Peninsula Light) and Peninsula Light is far superior. Nothing is perfect and there are outages but the communication and restoration times when there is an issue far surpasses any other electric company I have experienced. Very grateful for the hard work and dedication of the teams. This company is the best utility company out of any I have had in the past.
I have nothing but GOOD things to say about Pen Light. They are so DILIGENT and hardworking whenever power outages occur. Recently, 3 vehicles crashed into their power poles within a 24 hour period and they were ON TOP OF IT! They left detailed updates on their Facebook page, updated the outage map, and COMMUNICATED. Other times when power from Tacoma Power is cut (where our power comes from), they are on the ball with getting it restored to the area as soon as they are able. They excel at lip service instead of actually focusing on problem orientation. Moreover, after waiting for customer service for five minutes, no one answered and the phone system terminated the call. Excellent.
