Just had a rock chip repaired at Peninsula Glass and Auto Sales. I don't know if they actually did anything because it looks identical to when I brought it in. When I asked about it, they said, "that's just cosmetic". This chip is in the line of site in the passenger side. I wouldn't have paid to have it done if it wasn't going to make improvement to the cosmetics. I don't expect it to be clear, but SOME improvement is expected.
Just had the windshield replaced in my 2014 Silverado, GREAT experience! Efficient, quick, personable, gave me a loaner while it was being repaired. I will definitely recommend them and utilize their services again if needed!
