Updated Review: Another Eye Centre successfully treated my daughter's condition. I am disgusted at the approach offered by Peninsula Eye Centre. Refusal to treat an easily treatable condition and then bill the customer and the government for lack of service provided is a disgrace. How can Medicare allow this doctor to bill for services is beyond my understanding. Please provide refund for services supplied. Optometrist who referred us to your practise was horrified by the lack of treatment offered, luckily we were urgently r... read more

Please provide refund for services supplied. Optometrist who referred us to your practise was horrified by the lack of treatment offered, luckily we were urgently referred to another clinic whom deemed it absolutely necessary to commence treatment urgently to save sight. The dr who provided services should NOT be entitled to practice in a professional setting. Sitting and waiting for a sight in a child to deteriorate is a disgraceful clinical approach

Not for me . It wasn't for me it was my now departed mother a few years ago now. Beryl Reece, I came back a few days after and supposedly made an official complaint I bet it didn't get recorded, I spoke to a nurse responsible involved. You were in the old Post Office then. I was very annoyed after we left after operation I went back immediately and said something and the nurse didn't want to know. To this day I'm still irate as this was my dear Mother who I felt should have been treated better and my concerns rejected.

(Indian) Ophthalmologist Went into his room went to put my hand bag over the chair. He said 'Ah just put it there and sit, he wasn't the friendliness character what so ever. Had the eye test etc. He ask me if I had any questions. I replied " Yes two questions, he answered so abruptly (nastey) I let him know not to speak in such a nasty manner. As I was leaving he said he would send a referral through to the Royal Brisbane and Womans Hospital, this was in 2020.... Now in January 2024 I contacted the RBWH only to find out that... read more
