Great knowledge of spine and how to treat my issues.
Wonderful people. One of the few doctors I've had that has tried to get me to see them less and less with the goal of me not needing indefinite treatment. Exceptional care and resources for getting and staying healthy. Starting with 3 days a week of treatment to rehabilitate my back from a car accident to now only needing to go in once a month.
Approximately 18 months ago I came to Dr Mateo with 2 herniated disks, L4-L5 and L5-S1. I was unable to sit or drive for long periods, and had trouble getting out of the car and walking after a 45 minute drive to work. At its worst point I came to see Dr Mateo laying down in the passenger seat as my girlfriend drove, and then hobbled into his office using 2 canes. He started me on the spinal decompression therapy.
