I'm sorry but I was relieved to see that I'm not the only person aggravated with Simonmed. Without writing too much my experience is aligned with the many complaints of their incompetence and total nightmare. I really liked and was comfortable with Peninsula Diagnostics, I hope the actual center is still the same because if the call center and the wacked out online system is an indication of how the center is being run now, I say run, run fast away.

I have never experienced a more disorganized company than SimonMed. I used to go to Peninsula Diagnostic and they were great but SimonMed bought them out. SimonMed charged me upfront for a procedure instead of billing my insurance first. I received documents from my insurance company stating that my co-pay was less than what SimonMed charged me upfront. It's been 2.5 months and to this date have not gotten back my refund of $300+. If you had a mammogram done here and need a copy of it, DON'T CALL THEM - unless you love complicated situations with no resolution in sight... GO DIRECTLY TO 101 S SAN MATEO DRIVE, second floor, and ask the wonderful receptionists to make you a copy of your previous mammograms - go have a coffee and pastry on 3rd street, and come back to get your CD. I've been going there for years. They've been bought. The new owner has no record of me or any past visits, no idea who the staff is, the local number takes you to some kind of call center, and they couldn't put me through to the actual reception desk (after two tries) and hung up on me. Forget about it -- find someplace locally run.
