I bought a property 6/25/2019 and used PenFed Title. It has been an absolute nightmare. First of all they did not even attempt to record the deed until 4/15/2020. That is almost 10 months after the purchase! It only came to light when I was re-selling the property after having renovated it. The new buyer's title company could not find a recorded deed. DO NOT USE PENFED TITLE LLC! They rely on seller's disclosures rather than doing their own research. I purchased a home back in January and used PenFed LLC. I received a letter in the mail in June that there was an unpaid covenant balance from August of the previous year and that I was now responsible for it. I contacted the utilities company, and they said that the title company should have found this before purchase.
