I’m extremely disappointed with PenFed’s handling of my vehicle title after my loan was paid in full. Their lack of communication with the DMV and inefficient internal processes resulted in nearly a month-long delay in releasing my title — something most institutions complete within 24 hours. This unnecessary delay caused financial loss and significant stress. I urge PenFed to improve their coordination and communication to prevent this from happening to others. Will I ever use PenFed in the future? Absolutely not.

Someone walked into a location ( NOT ME AS PROVEN BY 2 seperate methods ) and passed a bad check . NOT ONLY HAS THIS CREDUT UNION FAILED BY NOT ASKING FOR ID WHICH WOULD HAVE STOPPED THIS WHOLE ISSUE , THIS CREDIT UNION HAS TAKEN POSSESSION OF MY FUNDS , BLOCKED MY ACCOUNT ACCESS BY ANY MEANS ! THEY REFUSE TO TAKE RESPONSIBLY FOR THEIR FAILURE TO PROTECT MY ACCOUNT AND MY IDENTITY! THIS IS SURREAL AND BEING REPORTED TO THE FBI AS PART OF THE ONGOING INVESTIGATION.
This credit union has really gotten terrible with their products. My credit card lost the ability to transfer cash into my PenFed deposit accounts, lost the balance transfer offers, created cash advance limits, removed the ability to apply for a limit increase and that's just for starters. I decided to shut all of my credit products and deposit accounts with them and they didn't even care to know why when I did; so I am really glad I am no longer a member here.
