If I could give “0” stars I would. The electric is always going out and sometimes over nothing! The prices they charge are not worth the service you get. Honestly think this company needs to be looked into. With the prices I pay, they should be able to keep the electricity on for more than a few hours at a time!
If you are considering purchasing a house that has Penelec electric, don't, or at least make sure the house has a whole house generator. I've lived up and down the east coast and have never experienced a utility company like this. We lose power constantly. It affects my job since I work from home, so I need internet. We lost power on Thanksgiving, thank goodness my Uncle had a generator so we didn't starve or freeze. I would give 0 stars if I could. It is one of the worst companies I have dealt with. First, it's very expensive. Next, there is no customer service. Good luck trying to get a hold of someone. I was trying for 2 weeks. I finally got a hold of someone they hung up on me in 10 mins and didn't answer any of my questions. Finally, their website never worse for me. The company is waste of time thank you for nothing
terrible company terrible rude customer service!!!!!!!! have paid my bill for years within 1-10 days of the due date and now they billed me 700.00 for a security deposit.....looked online and they are doing this to allot of people .Never behind always a zero balance at billing on statement but yet they say im late ...this company has to much power. They need regulated what happened to our rights?
