Despite consultation, initial retainer, mediation fees, additional deposit, and subsequent billing, shareholder Bretta Lewis was unable to complete the contractual request. Meetings were cancelled while in route to location. Nothing was confirmed ahead of time. Only a preliminary draft was ever produced. Most unprofessional experience I have ever had in a professional setting. I do not recommend this firm to anyone who values their time or dignity, it's the lowest bar of service I have ever seen.
Highly reccomend Marcus Mitchell, he helped me with my custody/visitation agreement, something that was dragging on until he came in and helped with his professionalism and up beat personality. He was very knowledgeable of the laws and the situation and I couldn't be happier with the out come he helped me to achieve. I owe a big thank you to him and Shelby Notenbaum. If I ever need the assistance in the future I would definitely be coming back to this duo !
I had a very positive experience working with Bretta Lewis at Pender & Coward during my divorce. She was upfront and honest about the entire process, explained things clearly, and gave me realistic expectations. I especially appreciated that she never tried to drag things out or rack up unnecessary hours—her focus was always on helping me reach the best outcome as efficiently as possible. I highly recommend Bretta for anyone who needs a divorce lawyer they can truly trust.
Disorganized
$250 consulting fee down the drain. Nothing came of it. If you area getting divorced, the lawyers will win and you will lose. Find a cheap alternative.
