Last week 23rd September 2025, I had my yearly checkup with the landough spinal unit. The spinal unit prescribed gabapentin and menthol cream, this script needed to be done by my gp, I handed the script to the gp on the 24th, I was told the script would take 3 days, I called the gp rooms 25th a day after, asking if I could possibly get the gabapentin a bit sooner, the person said they would put it through manually, which they did, and I collected my gabapentin the next day 26th. Just called the surgery about my daughter as we're concerned she is having panic attacks.. they told me to ring at 8am for a routine appointment.. as I tried to explain that I have already tried this route for 3 days in a row and was just curious if there are any near future appointments I could make (2 weeks in advance like other GPs offer) and instead of explaining anything to me.. she just hung the phone up! No wonder our NHS is in such a mess, llanharran and pencoed closed for the next 4 days, people unable to get there scripts etc. Utter madness
Just got through to the receptionist at 15:30 19th Feb 2025. After a nasty fall yesterday evening, I rang to get some advice as my head is becoming increasingly fuzzy. To say I met with ZERO sympathy would be an understatement. Just one reminder from me, my dear, according to the rule of Karma, what goes around comes around!!! ☹️
