Attended a wedding here. Beautiful ceremony outside with the fall foliage and Delaware River as a background. The Estate is a beautifully maintained mansion and the food and service was excellent.
Was in the mainhouse ballroom, The acoustics in the building are terrible. If you like yelling to the person , that is sitting next to you, just to hear each other, Then this is the place for you. Otherwise the culinary end was first class. The Little chalkboards that identified the food choices, we're hard to read.( possibly red print on white background) Could possibly use colored rope lights for the lighting in ceiling/ along top of walls, Would make the room more attractive. Wouldn't recommend outdoor weddings.Food was good but would have liked coffee urns to be filled before the end as everyone was freezing.
We just hosted our wedding at Pen Ryn Mansion this weekend and it was absolutely beautiful! The food was delicious, the staff was so attentive and our event manager, Liz, bridal attendant, Betsy and room attendant, Daniel were phenomenal. We’re absolutely thrilled with how our wedding was executed and we highly recommend anyone considering Pen Ryn Mansion to move forward. You won’t be disappointed!!
Our wedding at River's Edge was beautiful! They have a really efficient system for handling guests, getting food served, and working with vendors. The standard food options are pretty good, we were happy we added on a few things like the Craft Cocktail Bar and Philly Food Station for elevated options. River's Edge does have a sound ordinance - it's really not that noticeable, but something to keep in mind for DJs & musicians.
