Went for ear infection and 3 Dr's couldn't tell me why I can't hear and charged me 2500 for a service i didnt get (I think theres a law for that).. MaineHealth doesnt get a gold star more like a black mark with me next time I'll head South for better service and get the service
The PA who saw me for an “assessment” was unprofessional and dismissive. Christine Hawxhurst was rude and lacked basic bedside manner, which is especially concerning when dealing with patients who are already unwell. She delivered a diagnosis I was already aware of in a condescending manner, despite the fact that my visit was simply to obtain documentation and determine whether medication was needed. Did not use correct billing codes and refused to change it.
Just got back from the Maine Health walk-in clinic in Rockand. Spent one hour in the waiting room (did not seem unreasonable for a Sunday morning, and they were busy). Was very impressed with the staff, from the receptionist to the physician's asissant to the physician (Dr. Andrew). I would not hesitate to go back.
