Pen Bay transported my 28 ft cruiser from my home and launched it in the bay this spring. On time, professionally done, response to customer needs, great to work with. So I used them again for haul out and transport. A repeat performance.

I flew from Virginia to see a boat they have listed only to find the photos of it they used to attract buyers were taken 10 to 12 years ago!! It looked NOTHING like the photos, even its name had bleached off!! The broker, John Wilkinson told me the photos were just taken in the spring!! This mistake in trusting them cost me $1,100 total and a waist of two days believing in this business and sales person!!

Charged me $750 for improperly installing a lower shift cable back in April. Had to hire someone else to correct it and installa new one. The mechanic ran it through Transom at virtually a 90 degree angle instead of around the manifold and up behind steering rack Mercury shows, causing damage to the casing. Didn't reseal outdrive well so there was water in the shift cable housing when it was taken apart. And the boot was clamped on so tight around the cable it caused drag on the cable when moving drive up and down.
