Khempo Gawang Rinpoche has given teachings on such scholarly works as The Sadhana of Shakyamuni Buddha, the 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva, and The Kerala Jewel. He is a scholar and holds the equivalent of a PhD in Buddhist studies from Namdroling Monastery.
