Not surprised that they went out of business. Was taken advantage of in early 2013 or 2014 when I purchased a yellow Specizlied Allez from them. I wasn't sized properly and pretty much stuck with what I have with no recourse. Kinda sucks. Might have to go on Criagslist and see if I can find a better sized road bike used.
It's a very nice Mom and Pop shop and their prices are fair; at least on bikes. I haven't had services done here yet, but they sure went out of their way to get me the right bike in my price point.
These reviews are not accurate. Peloton is a fair and honest shop. I commissioned them to build a custom carbon bike for me. It came in over budget and they stuck to the quote. I have also purchased a brand new Cannondale Habit from them and the sales and service has been spectacular.
Horrible experience with this bike shop, young man who gave us a quote for labor to replace tires and brake pads but then overcharged us for labor, charged $16 for a tube that you can buy at Walmart 2 for $16, couldn't explain their pricing system except when it was done said he gave an estimate (far lower than actual cost). Was also pushy about paying for expensive tune up citing how our gears were slipping - we haven't had that experience before, but who knows after they worked on our bikes.
