I must say that my expectations were high after the salesman explained the product and the installation procedures. The install was great. I had a two man team, Kyle and Dylan, but they worked like a four man team. What was scheduled for 4 days they accomplished in 3. The cleanup was great, and the windows looked fantastic
Last summer my wife noticed small pellets inside my sliding door with blinds at the bottom of the door. She mentioned it to me but like some husband I really didn’t pay any attention to the problem. In January 2024 she said there were more pellets. I paid attention this time. Checking my warranty information I discovered I had a limited warranty for 2/5 yrs. 2 for labor and 5 for material defect. Guess what the 5 year expired in December 2023! Purchased a replacement sweep for my storm door. Arrived without delay.
I see reviews about Pella Windows and Doors that are less than stellar, but my experience has always been very good. The folks in Columbia know their stuff. They have their own service people who work through issues you might have. They have always offered me options on how to resolve a problem, so sometimes I can fix it myself with their help and direction. Terrible customer service and honestly for the price the hardware sucks too. I purchased a door in early December 2022. Received the door in February damaged. I immediately got ahold of Pella to inform them that the door was damaged. They seemed responsive and helpful at that time. WOW was that the only time. I was given the option to install the damaged door and wait for a replacement panel because the damage was only on the panel. We opted for that to continue on with the sealing up the building.
