I am the home owner of a custom built home with defective Pella windows. We built our home in 1997 and since have had many problems with these windows. Many of them have rotted completely and others have mold on the inside. We have contacted Pella and have documentation dating back to 2014-2015 when we began ordering new sashes to replace the rotted windows. Pella does not stand behind their product. Not covering my windows that rotted out due to poor construction. Buying Anderson windows from now on.
My mother purchased a storm door because of the great name Pella we thought stood for. Worst door ever. The screen is so flimsy we had to try to replace screen day one to tighten that didn't work because of the inferior method used to hold screen in. Called Pella no offer of solution or to send service out. So now we are less than 2 years and everytime you touch screen it falls apart so now weekly i am drilling a new hole into the door to keep together. I am a contractor in the area and started using Pella Windows in the Barclay Shopping Center initially for their convenience but since I’ve been able to develop a relationship with their sales people I recommend them whenever possible.
Jeff Sheard at the Berwyn showroom was super helpful and kind. He clearly knows his stuff, and the door and skylight we got are great quality. Definitely recommend.
What a great place to buy windows! Not only is the Berwyn show room convenient, but Jeff Sheard is extremely knowledgeable and is just a genuinely nice guy! 10/10 will purchase from Jeff again!
I've used Pella windows in our custom homes besides my personal residence. They look great and are the most durable in the industry. I'll never use anything else ever again. There service is the best. They are always on time and go over and above my expectations!
