Black Mountain was once the snow cone capitol of the East Coast, but has recently fallen on harder times. There was a time when one couldn't throw a pun-intended sno ball without hitting a dispensary. Gone are all seventy of the classic establishments, and in their place has arisen Pelicans. These birds, known in mythology for selflessness, now provide cooling satisfaction to the masses. Bravo, Pelican.

As a New Orleans native, I love SnoBalls. I was so excited when we stubbled upon this gem. They had SOOO many flavor choices. A flavor for everyone. Great kids choices, and they even made me a "Stuffed Snoball". Snoball with soft serve ice cream in the middle. The staff was super fun and friendly. Highly recommend.
TURTLE SUNDAE ICE CREAM IS THE BEST EVER! AND IT IS SUGAR FREE. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
