We worked with Mark at Pelayo Construction for more than a year to build a 2,200 sqft fire-resistant residence in rural Placer County. The initial design was quoted by several contractors who all delivered quotes within a few percent of each other but were all twice what we could afford. Only Mark provided a detailed quote that we were able to use for a complete redesign.
