An Amazing Experience with Mussel King! The Mussel King tour was absolutely amazing and definitely worth the price! The boat ride out to the mussel lines was beautiful, with fantastic views of St. John’s Bay. Pulling up the mussel lines and seeing the mussels growing in their natural environment was such a unique and fascinating experience. Faith was fantastic! We bought 5 lbs. Of mussels at the factory. Hardly had to throw any out either before cooking or after. They were great.
Bought their 454g Mussels in white wine flavored sauce. It would seem the product development team/ or person has one heck of a sweet tooth. There are 10g of sugar in the product, a bag of 454g mussels! That's not far off a bowl of Cocoa Pebbles at 12g. Who puts sugar in mussels...and lots of sugar? Never heard of it. They also blew it with the sauce, the spices do not compliment the mussels. I recently had some mussel king mussels. And I was very happy with the product. I can definitely see why they have brought their products to other nations. Very good quality.
