This place is absolutely heavenly. The loons calling all day, bald eagles roosting overhead, wonderful views, wonderful people, wonderful facilities, wonderful everything!
This was our second year at Pehrson’s and it was fantastic once again! Cabins were super clean and comfortable, the resort and lakeshore are well maintained and walkable. I think what I love the most is how easy things are—accessing all types of activities and watercraft, reasonably priced store for guests, firewood, kid friendly, dog friendly—truly a hassle free vacation in a beautiful place.

The best experience around. We drive nine hours from Eastern Iowa to come back here to the area we grew up. This is our 7th stay over the last nine years. The cabins are great. The owners and staff are wonderful.
