The employees might be very knowledgeable and helpful at this pet store, but the owners of this company do not care about your pets. I repeat THEY DO NOT care about your animals. You need to make sure you do not support this pet store. Everything is outdated and the supplies will not help your animals, whether you have a dog, lizard, hamster, or even a fish. Make the smart decision today and DO NOT shop at Peggy Woods! Shop at Petco today instead!
I needed to try some new cat litter stat. I got a new cat that didn't cover his business and it was stinking up the place (according to my girlfriend anyway). This place had a nice staff member who talked me through all the options and helped me pick out two new ones to try. Street parking and lot in back. Across from Portos so you can get some potato balls too.
Their fish guy here, Sean, is very knowledgable and friendly. Soft spoken, but really knows his stuff!

Great Store! Great Prices! Peggy Wood's Pet Emporium has helpful staff for all your needs, they carry wide variety of products, Harry one of the pet consultants is very nice and experienced... I think if you are looking for quality stop by there and you will be glad you did!!!
Not recommending this place. My (expensive) puppy I got there is sick, they also told me he had all his shots and he's missing 3. Not happy.
Dirty and smells bad... But the worst part is they carry sick dogs from puppy mill trucked in in crates from the mid west. Shame on them.
Want someone who knows animals and cares? Only pet store I've ever been in where they really know animals. Puppies are there for only a couple of days (and they are really expensive). But if you want pet advice and every product you can think of--they have it or will order it. This is not a "corporate" type store--but a , well, a PET STORE.
I shop at Peggy Wood's – I bought my bunny and my dog from Peggy Wood's P.E. I also have met other people who have bought their dogs there. My pets are very healthy with great personalities. I got my dog as a purebread puppy that came with all of her shots and worming and a pedigree that goes back several years including champions. They have kids that come in every day to walk the puppies that I think is great because it helps them to socialize and get used to walking.
