This weekend my cat got extremely sick unexpectedly. I called and over the phone they were so empathetic to my very anxious self and told me to bring him in. The staff was incredibly kind to both me and my kitty. After his results came back he needed to be euthanized. This is my childhood cat and my heart was shattered. It still pains me to write this months later, but we took our cat here after we noticed she had trouble breathing. The vet (I forgot her name) was very reasonable and we opted for x-rays over expensive imagery. The x-rays were bad, and she gave us her honest opinion that we had a quality of life issue. We decided to end her suffering, and the all of the staff involved in that was wonderful. They even send us a handwritten condolence card afterwards. Dr. Guy and the AnimERge team took great care of our dog late on the 4th of July when he broke his nail. Starting with the receptionist who answered the phone before we came in who was super patient and gave helpful advice. After we arrived, Dr. Guy took time to discuss what happened and the needed after care. She was very patient and answered all of our questions. The entire team was so helpful and we’re so grateful for their amazing service.
I came at 7:30am on a Sunday sat in the waiting room alone for an hour. The girl at the desk refused to give me an indication of how much longer I’d be sitting there. I left because while my dog needed Medicare care it could wait until the next morning when I could beg my vet to see me. Shame on you Animerge
