Pricey, but knowledgeable This place isn't cheap, but then again, they don't carry cheap bikes and they are located in Danville, CA - which in itself is a very affluent area. With that said, they have a knowledgeable staff and they do know their stuff. What I've noticed is that it really depends on who is helping you. Pegasus Cycle Works is BAD, BAD, BAD! This place Totally Sucks! I was in the store two times. Both times the staff made me feel like an idiot. I am NOT an idiot. You can only return itemes for exchange. "Sure well take it back for STORE CREDIT!" What a CROC!!! Oh yeah....we'll take it back...IF you buy something else. They must be doing crappy business if they cant afford to give you your money back for an unopened item. Live and learn....I'll never darken their doorway again. Good, "higher end" bike store I like Pegasus--they have knowledgeable staff and some great gear and components. It is not cheap and you can tell a lot of serious riders come to the store. If I needed something specific, I would definitely go there for advice.
