Hello!! I am a new patient of this physician. Just met her today.. mind you, i am a long time epileptic being diagnosed during childhood ( age 5) and I can truly say; from many neurologists I have encounter during my lifetime.. this Neurologist met my “ own situation” reviewed every detail important to me, and for me ( I am a RN) long time in healthcare and she employed high ethics, listened to all my concerns, very down to earth Neurologist. I highly recommend her. Thank you Dr. Afra!!
Not a good experience.
After taking my daughter to see this neurologist, I left feeling devastated. I am new to my daughters’ condition of having seizures and when I asked this neurologist questions I felt unheard and judged. There is no empathy, compassion or kindness. The bedside manners are simply not there, I strongly believe any patient deserves great communication and compassion from their healthcare provider. I respectfully would not recommend this neurologist to anyone who is reading this, thank you!
