We recently had a guest speaker, Brittani from Peel Public Health, come speak to our dental hygiene class, and it was a really informative session. She did a great job connecting public health concepts to what we’ll be doing in practice, especially in terms of prevention, community outreach, and patient education. There was an issue with my sons vaccine records which apparently was missed by the doctors office as well and he would possibly face suspension. In a panic state I reached the vaccine center. Met Ms.Lushato( hope I got her name right). She was so patient, listened to my entire episode, explained the issue and got it resolved including the vaccine immediately. Its so difficult nowadays to meet frontend staff who listen and act. Deserves a huge applause and the region should be proud of such employees. Excellent experience..
It was a very positive experience. The nurse explained everything clearly and was very gentle with my son.
