The best animal hospital with the best nurses and vet!!! I have been going here for over 10 years the have saved multiple of my animals over and over again. The treatment that the animals receive is always above and beyond. Not once did they ask or suggest any types of tests or procedures that my animals didn't need and even talked me out of spending extra money unnecessary. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Sartaj Wazir, his assistant, and Brittany at Peel Animal Hospital. They provided outstanding care, compassion, and support throughout our rabbit’s illness. They tried several courses of treatment and genuinely cared about giving him the best chance possible as he fought a serious infection. Sadly, he was ultimately unable to recover, but during our final visit, the team was incredibly sympathetic and supportive. I will never bring my pet here ever again. I have brought my dog here since he was a puppy. My dog got an inflamed gland for the first time and the vet straight up told us to get surgery. He emotionally pressured to get the surgery as soon as possible as it was an "emergency". He did not offer any itermediate plans such as gland expression or even flushing. He kept insisting on removing not one but BOTH OF HIS ANAL GLANDS. Mind that this is a very risky and delicate surgery. Anything could go wrong. The emotional trauma that... read more
I was very disappointed with my experience with Dr. Wazir Sartag. I did not find him to be professional or attentive, and I left feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously. Communication was poor, and the overall level of care did not meet my expectations. I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience and would encourage others to carefully consider their options before booking an appointment.
