We were charged $724 over a standard ear infection in a baby with an appointment. $233 was labs to check if it was the flu and $491 was for the medical professional to grace us with her presence for 15 minutes. Our insurance generously covered $148 and Boston Children’s is billing us $586. For an ear infection. I called to ask if there was some mistake and they responded “we are expensive, people call to complain all the time, deal with it.” Never going back. Warn your friends.
