As a healthcare professional, I do not easily criticize fellow healthcare professionals. However, the experience we had with Pediatric Urology under Dr. Taylor was something I cannot overlook. In short, Dr. Taylor was unapologetically late, frigid in her demeanor towards my husband and I, and displayed zero kindness or compassion towards our infant son who was there for a circumcision at two months of age. Waited almost 1.5 hours, was with the provider for less than 10 minutes that resulted in little help, and then received a $650 bill. Not what I expected for my 1st time at a Vanderbilt medical facility.
The doctors are great, but front office is poorly run. We waited for over an hour for our son to be seen for less than 10 minutes. The front office is loud, the staff seemed like they were simply checking off the boxes to do their jobs, and all the patients and families were frustrated with the wait times. Compared to the other clinic offices and hospital settings I have experienced at Vanderbilt Children's (STELLAR!), this was incredibly sub-par.
Pediatric Urology has a 2 star rating with 5 reviews.
Pediatric Urology is open now. It will close at 6:00 p.m.
