They cancelled ABA services for my son after being on a wait list for 8 months. Very disappointing and with very short notice.
Watch your billing statements and get reference numbers from them, pointless to save your own documentation. My complaint has nothing to do with the service my son got that was great. However they were slow submitting things to my insurance. In July of 2024 received a bill in the mail for almost $1200 which I paid in full on Aug 1. Later in August I got a new bill for close to $400 that they said just went through insurance. So I set that up on a two payment plan and should have been good. It was a great experience until it wasn’t. Elisha Placek was my son’s case manager, and over time she seemed to dislike me and/or my son and it showed. The job requires patience and the ability to assist autistic children to cope and manager certain behaviors, this is behavioral therapy after all. There was an incident where my son had injured himself during an appointment and no mention of Elisha sustaining any injuries. We had a great experience here until I realized that when I requested a free screening online that wasn’t what I was going to get. I was really disappointed to learn AFTER I got the hour screen that it was NOT the free screening I requested. I was then told, as if I should have known, that the free screening was 15 minutes.
