Received a referral from Urgent Care to follow up here and was told they would call me the next business day. Instead I got an automated call, telling ME to call a number, but that number went straight to children's mercy, not the ortho clinic and I was given a different number. I called the new one and they told me to wait until I was called first because they needed to confirm details of the referral first. STILL waiting on a call back. Absolutely trash customer service

We had a fantastic experience at CMH. My daughter had a severe injury on a Saturday night, Dr Grote performed her surgery on the following day. He is amazing! Knowledgeable, professional, and good rapport. The ortho dept is very (VERY) busy but we expect that given they are some of the best and most ethical medical staff in the area. They are worth the wait, especially when the problem or injury needs more advanced care.

To schedule an appointment you have to leave a message for a call back. I’m not sure how long a person is supposed to wait as I’ve never received a call for probably two weeks. Very unprofessional Children’s Mercy! You should be ashamed of the reviews on here. I can’t wait any longer as my child’s care is my top priority so we will go elsewhere. If you see this I would like to speak with the administration to complain. If you truly care about our children’s health you would call back or comment on my review.

Ortho department is a joke. I have been calling every day for almost 2 weeks to set an appointment to get my 5yr olds full leg cast off and they will not return calls. Still have yet to set an appointment or even get a call back.
